Rim Cylinder Rollerbolt having the standard latch replaced by a roller bolt which is sprung to allow the door to open and close on a simple pull or push and does not require the key or handle to operate in this position. This rim cylinder roller bolt can be installed on doors that have opening either side i.e. can be pulled or pushed to open. The key or handle can be used for the deadbolt function and throws the roller bolt across to lock the door, thus locking the door. Once locked, the handle (from the inside) or key (from the outside) is required to unlock the door again and return it to the sprung roller action.
